A piece of traditional Romanian clothing, originally from Argeș, hand sewn in the first half of the 20th century (1935-1945). It is made of cotton cloth, with embellishments sewn with green cotton thread. On the front, back and sleeves, yellow lines of fabric complement the embroidered pattern. This traditional peasant blouse is made of pieces of cloth sewn with the help of a sewing machine. On the shoulders, the embroidery ("altița") has three rows of pattern. The sleeves are decorated with three vertical rows of rhombuses and eye shaped ornaments ("ochișori"). An original item, in good condition.
